I am a Chartered Educational Psychologist currently offering educational psychology services to a range of independent schools, FE and HE institutions in and around London and Hertfordshire. I work as part of a therapeutic team in an independant special school for children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder.
With over 20 years' experience in education, I have been employed by Local Education Authorities as a teacher, special needs co-ordinator, educational psychologist and specialist educational psychologist. I have been a qualified teacher since 1991 and a qualified educational psychologist since 1997. I have extensive experience of working with young people with Autistic Sectrum Disorders including high functioning Autism and Asperger Syndrome.
I have worked in private practice since 2001. From 2002 to 2009 I was employed as an associate lecturer in Developmental Psychology for the Open University. Although an independent chartered educational psychologist, I work in association with a group of other psychologists.
I have current enhanced police checks and comprehensive private indemnity insurance. I am Associate Fellow of The British Psychological Society and am registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council. I am a member of the Associates of Child Psychologists in Private Practise. Brooks Holmes Ltd is registered under the Data Protection Act with the Information Commisioner Office.
